“Sergiu and his team did a fantastic job installing a hot water underfloor heating system over 4 floors of a central London terrace house plus a separate electric cable system in an unconnected area of the house under extremely challenging conditions involving flooring installers and electricians working simultaneously -- with as many as 6 other people working in the same areas in my house as his team at times. From my initial conversation with him I could tell he knew his stuff and this was more than borne out by my experience when he came to do the work. He was pragmatic and creative in dealing with unexpected and not foreseeable issues that arose several times during the job when it became apparent that the existing heating, hot water and general plumbing systems in my 190-year-old house made no sense -- which is the most generous description although f-cked up is more accurate -- due to the myriad hodgepodge changes and repairs that had been carelessly made over the years, and he came up with cost effective solutions that he was able to achieve without adding to much extra time beyond his initial estimate. As a result, I ended up with a boiler/radiator/hot water supply system that is finally properly functional and efficient in addition to a state of the underfloor heating system with 7 separate zones for which I initially hired him. He was always courteous and helpful and had a great attitude and work ethic and worked well into the night most nights and on the weekends with my blessing in order to complete the job as quickly as he could. In short Sergiu more than exceeded my high expectations and I highly recommend him without any reservation or hesitation. I note that this is the first time I have been totally satisfied with the work done by any tradesperson in this country since I moved here from the United States almost 20 years ago -- and I have done 3 total house renovations and numerous other small and medium-size projects over those years, so I expect that I have had more dealings with building related tradespeople than most other people who aren't property developers.”
